Our history
Founded in 1980, by Theodoros Aristodemou, Aristo Developers has over 40 years experience in the property development industry.
Aristo Developers Founded by Theodoros Aristodemou
Theodoros Aristodemou, Chairman and CEO of Aristo Developers (right) with his wife Roulla Aristodemou, who is the Company’s Chief Architect and Technical Director.
Mr. Theodoros Aristodemou was born in 1951 in the village of Statos in Pafos. He attended the University of Athens School of Economics and received his qualification in 1975. Since then, Mr. Aristodemou has held key positions in numerous businesses and organisations and was member on numerous Boards of Directors for a string of successful companies in Cyprus.
International School of Paphos
The International School of Paphos was founded by Aristo Developers.
Picture: The first school was located in the centre of the city of Paphos, on Ellados Avenue.
Tsada Golf Course
Aristo Developers becomes a pioneer in Cyprus’ Golf development, by constructing the first Golf Course in Cyprus, enhancing Cyprus’ Tourism Product.
Secret Valley Golf Club
Aristo Developers establishes its second golf club and golf course in Ha-Potami, Kouklia – a renowned location adjacent to the legendary Birthplace of Greek Goddess of beauty Aphrodite (Petra tou Romiou).
Secret Valley Golf Course was later going to be part of Venus Rock Golf Resort, the biggest unified piece of private beachfront land ever to be acquired in Cyprus.
Aristo Centre
Aristo Developers develops and establishes its new headquarters in a new building in the heart of the City of Paphos.
The company’s headquarters have remained the same since 1999.

Aristo Developers’ success history is accredited worldwide. The company’s reputation for quality and reliability is endorsed by international organizations such as the NQA (National Quality Assurance / ISO 9001).
Aristo Developers is the first Cypriot Company in the Property Development Sector to receive the ISO 9001 Certificate for quality.
Aristo Developers Hellas
Greek subsidiary of Aristo Developers incorporated, focusing on property developments in Greece.
Aphrodite Water Park
Paphos’ First Waterpark constructed, owned and opened by Aristo Developers. Aphrodite Waterpark is the biggest waterpark in Paphos, a one-of-a-kind naturally landscaped aqua adventure centre. Situated in Kato Paphos on the coastal road easily accessible by car or the local bus which drops off right on our doorstep.
Aristo Goes Public
Aristo Developers became a public company and went on to achieve a successful listing of its shares in the Cyprus Stock Exchange. Managerial foresight, technical expertise and all-round professionalism were the driving forces which led Aristo Developers to become one of the most dynamic, innovative and trustworthy developing companies in Cyprus.
Venus Rock Golf Resort
Aristo Developers acquires the largest, privately owned unified beachfront parcel of land in Cyprus and the vision for a truly unique golf resort is born.
Cyprus Export Award 2005
Awarded to Aristo Developers for outstanding service and contribution to the Development Sector of Cyprus. The award was conferred on the Company by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Tassos Papadopoulos.
International School of Paphos
The new International School of Paphos was opened after successfully building up its reputation as one of the best English speaking Private Schools in Cyprus for about 20 years. The school’s state of the art premises and amenities are considered to be the best in Cyprus.

Dolphin Capital Investors, a leading global investor in the residential resort sector in Emerging markets makes the biggest ever investment in Real Estate in Cyprus by buying into Aristo Developers in a public-to-private acquisition.
Kings Avenue Mall
The opening of the Kings Avenue Mall in Paphos marked the launch of a new shopping experience in Paphos. The contemporary, state-of-the-art shopping mall, developed and co-owned by Aristo Developers, is amongst the biggest developments ever in Cyprus and has become a landmark for the city of Paphos.
Embracing Cultures
Aristo Developers launches its “Embracing Cultures” campaign aimed at highlighting the importance of Cyprus’ diverse cultural communities which have contributed significantly to the economy of the island.
Opening of the Boarding House at the International School of Paphos
The Boarding House is conveniently located at the school campus, in a secure and peaceful environment a few minutes drive from the heart of the city of Paphos and only 10 minutes’ drive from the Paphos International Airport. The Boarding House will serve as an accommodation for students, filled with extracurricular activities such as sports and arts in a team collaborating environment.
